The season has well and truly started now here at Lochaline Dive Centre.
We have 24 divers here from Nottingham Trent University this week. The group arrived on Saturday and will stay all the way up until Thursday, making the most of our dive boats, accommodation, air and gas filling facilities and the great weather we’re having to tick off some great dives in their logbooks.
The group split up today, with some heading off on Sound Diver II with the aim to dive the Breda, while the others taking their RIB out to dive the Ballista and perhaps go scallop hunting in Ardtornish Bay.
Sunday was of course Mother’s Day, and the O2 Cafe held a special Mary Berry Afternoon Tea to celebrate, with a wide range of cakes, sandwiches and scones on offer.
There’s been lots of interest in our new snorkel activities, and new dates have been added for the BSAC Dolphin Snorkeler and Snorkel Diver pool courses at Oban’s Atlantis Leisure swimming pool. Read more about all our snorkel activities and dates here.
