Boat orientation for new staff at Lochaline Dive Centre

New recruits received their boat orientation training today on Sound Diver I and Sound Diver II. New crew members as well as our new snorkel officer Catriona Hoon were shown the ropes by Mark Lawrence, owner and director at Lochaline Dive Centre.

Whether it’s a group of experienced divers, a snorkel group heading out to swim with the basking sharks, or a scenic boat trip out wildlife spotting, there is always an experienced skipper and crew member on board both vessels at the dive centre.

Both boats are fitted with hydraulic divers lifts, can operate 60 miles from a safe haven, and Sound Diver I has a compressor on board for divers to use.

This summer we’ll be running scenic boat trips, basking shark trips, snorkel safaris, and of course be taking divers to all the interesting dive sites the Sound of Mull is famous for.
