Contract for SMART project feasibility study awarded!

After receiving 19 registrations of interest via the Public Contracts Scotland tendering process, the contract to undertake the Feasibility Study for the sinking of an artificial reef in the Sound of Mull by the SMART Project ( has been awarded to Colliers International who have brought together a team including  MKA Economics the Canadian Artificial Reef Consortium  and will be working in conjunction with the  Scottish Association for Marine Science for this project.

The Feasibility Study has been funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (50%),Highland LEADER (45%) and Lochaline Dive Centre (SeaArch Ltd.) (5%).
